We were looking for a security system for our house and the cost of equipment rental and monitoring fees were very costly. We found simpli safe on the internet and purchased it. Easy to set up and install. The monitoring fee per month is unbeatable. The system is expandable and you can add numerous different detectors etc to the system. I have actually added some detectors and entry sensors to make the system even more stout. The manual is very clear about how to install the alarm and how to add components. I have put the system in test a couple times and the dispatch center calls immediately to let me know they received the signal. We also had a visitor cause an accidental alarm and we received a call from their dispatch center immediately. We really like the system and we only pay for the monthly monitoring now since we own the equipment. Would not hesitate to purchase this system again if I needed one for another house.
The reason I gave 4 stars for devices and features is that some people may want cameras with this system and at the time of our purchase they were not available. They don't appear to be available now either. Don't know if they will come out with them or not for their system.
In summary, I would recommend SimpliSafe to a friend.
